It essentially involves anticipating how much human capital an organization will need in the future, and making plans to meet those needs. This needs to be closely linked to the overall business strategies in order to truly add value.
The job of talent managers, however, is not an easy one. Evolving technologies have direct bearings on market dynamics, and organizations always struggle to find the right talent at the right time.
