Lori Johnson founded Amicus House, Inc in 1998 after owning and directing Moriah, Inc. an alcohol and drug treatment program, which was comprised of 7 facilities founded by them in 1989. The Adson Group of Lori Johnson, executive director of Amicus House, stands outside the substance abuse recovery home. She met Marc Adler in 2002. They spoke of his idea of starting a residential treatment program for the victims of traumatic experiences.
