Google launches its applicant management system, Hire on July 18th, 2017 following the release of Google for Jobs initiative earlier in the year. Google for Jobs allowed users to have a centralized database of job postings from tie-ups with job portals, as a means of finding the right job for themselves online in a streamlined and simpler fashion. In response to this, the company announced Hire, intended for use by companies and organizations to track their applicants seamlessly.
